Tempeh is traditionally from Indonesia. Having a higher protein content than tofu, it is easy to digest & contains iron, calcium & magnesium. Serve it with a yummy satay sauce and a fresh garden salad for a nutritious Summer meal.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 20-30 minutes

Ingredients:
200gm tempeh
¼ cup satay sauce (Storebought or there’s a great recipe here)
Method:
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees.
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Cut the tempeh into 8 even strips. Place the strips onto the tray, and using a spoon, spread the satay sauce over both sides of the tempeh. Be sure that there is a generous coating on each piece of tempeh.
Bake until nicely golden. Around 20-30 minutes.
