Easy Hatha Yoga Class

Hatha yoga increases flexibility, strengthens and tones muscles, balances hormones, cleanses and flushes all the internal systems of the body. It also calms the mind and reduces stress.

Classes are suitable for all levels with a strong focus on working within your body’s limitation. We use breath and awareness as guide to go deeper in your asanas. Hence, your body is safe and experiences the benefits of Hatha yoga.

Mantra Meditation Journey

By the simple process of mantra meditation, our mind and heart are gradually purified of all kinds of stress, worry, hankering, envy, anger, anxiety, and deep-seated fears. We begin to experience an ever-deepening inner peace and happiness and increasing insights into life.

Be a part of an immersive and interactive mantra meditation journey and join many other like minded people sharing this ancient yet effective meditation practice. Interweaving music, mantras, breath, and yoga wisdom to deepen your meditation, this Mantra Meditation evening is both soothing yet uplifting. You will be sure to leave feeling lighter, calmer and truly nourished within.

The evening is fully guided and includes breathing, mindfulness & mantra/kirtan meditation.

Everything is provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and participation! Some refreshments provided at the end of the program.

Deep Peace Meditation™ & Sound Bath

End your working week with this Deep Peace Meditation Journey featuring a Yoga Nidra Sound Bath using a collection of Tibetan singing bowls and chimes. A complete well-being experience to help you decompress from the week - assisting you to release stress, mental tension and emotional stagnation.

Self-care is something we far too often overlook, but is something we all desperately need and should be making a priority in our busy lives. Looking after our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing is what refreshes, rejuvenates and energises us so that we can move forward with our lives in a more balanced, harmonious way.

What to expect
Mindfulness, mantra breathing, fully guided full body relaxation (yoga nidra - equivalent to 4 hours of sleep), Tibetan singing bowls & mantra meditation.

What to bring
Bring yoga mat, blankets, cushions, eye pillows and whatever to make you comfortable lying down.

More than just your standardised yoga class, we welcome you to come and take a yoga journey with Chantelle each week to help you transition from the go, go rhythm of the Monday to Friday grind to a slower, more conscious and restful pace that the weekend allows us to tap into with the right tools, practices and environment.
Nature Yoga Journey is a holistic experience that weaves dynamic hatha yoga asanas, with long juicy holds and essential strength-based work to give you a complete wellbeing reset. Coupled with powerful mantra meditation, relaxation, breathwork and mindfulness practices that truly makes this class a supportive experience that nourishes your physical, mental/emotional and spiritual health. Not to mention the stunning setting for our practice; our very own private deck overlooking the bushland to soak up all this yoga goodness!

Chantelle

Chantelle has been applying the Yoga Lifestyle in her life for over ten years. It has deeply transformed her from the inside-out. She finds joy from sharing all the tools, resources and inspirations that have been instrumentals in her own journey with others and supporting them to make simple changes in their life so they can experience the many benefits from this amazing process.

Chantelle is also a fun and nurturing yoga asana teacher who finds the balance between challenging her students and doing the core poses well. You can expect Chantelle’s classes to have a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Every class is unique with a real emphasis on students needs and their areas of tension.

Amit Meditation

Amit

Amit is a practitioner of mantra meditation for over 10 years. After some tough times in his life, and always feeling unfulfilled in the happiness derived from the "external", he started on the journey of self-discovery. He was fortunate enough to come across a genuine selfless spiritual teacher from whom he has received these ancient meditation practices that is available to everyone to cultivate lasting peace and deeper happiness.

For the Yoga Asana classes, he focuses on yoga alignment and breath. He holds the poses for longer duration and likes to tell the benefits of each pose in his class. You will find his classes helpful to increase focus, alignment, awareness and to feel relaxed at the end.

Emma

Emma has been practicing Mantra meditation for 5 years with ASMY North Brisbane and has benefited greatly from being part of the community and developing a regular personal practice. She started by attending the Tuesday night Kirtan program at Stafford and after some time became a volunteer. Emma is excited to be joining the team this year as a yoga asana teacher and offering classes at Sandgate and Stafford. Emma’s classes have a calm and relaxed flow with an interest in supporting everyone to embark on or extend their yoga journey.

Off the mat Emma is a nature lover and spends time in the bush and at the beach. Always keen to be near the water, kayaking, swimming or water skiing. Another happy place is the garden tending to her ever growing edible garden. Emma is a childhood teacher and runs a bush kindy and mindfulness children's program, she is passionate about giving children opportunities to learn and experience within nature.
