What We Offer

Kirtan meditation

Our Kirtan sessions weave live music with sacred yoga chants in a relaxed, uplifting atmosphere where you can easily experience peace and spiritual connection.

Deep Peace Classes

These blissful, fully guided sessions can help you overcome stress and anxieties, help relieve tension and calm the mind. Experience rest, recuperate and find heartfelt inner peace. Included in every session is guided breathing, mindfulness techniques, relaxation, and sacred music meditation (kirtan).

Mindfulness & Meditation Courses

You will experience powerful yet easy mindfulness and meditation techniques to calm your mind and guided relaxation to feel more grounded and centred. Learn how meditation you can nurture your inner spiritual needs and uncover deeper meaning and purpose.

Yoga Asana Classes

Our yoga asana classes will provide you with an authentic yoga experience and aim to improve whole body flexibility, energy, balance and strength. We incorporate relaxing and calming yoga breathing to enhance your practice and wellbeing. We always includes guided relaxation and meditation to help you to cultivate calmness, inner peace and happiness.

Community Sessions

We can bring any of our classes and programs to your community, business or friendship circle. We can also offer yoga asana classes, specialised workshops (such as stress management, dealing with anxiety or anger etc), and lifestyle and wellness workshops based around the teachings of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Intro to Meditation

Join us for a relaxed, friendly and inspiring workshop to learn and experience uplifting and inspiring practices that you can apply in your daily life for increased physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Please contact us for upcoming dates and to book.

Breathing and Meditation Class

Join Chris for this fully guided session incorporating breathing, mindfulness, sound meditation and relaxation. You will leave feeling calm and rejuvenated. Classes run on Friday afternoons at alternating libraries. Please contact us for more info and to book.

Free Yoga in the Botanical Gardens

Join Anna for some blissful yoga sessions out in nature. Classes run from February through to November on the 2nd & 4th Friday of the month, 9-10am. Bookings are not essential, just show up and find us on the grassy area in front of the cafe. Extra mats are provided.

Men's Monthly Yoga & Chat

Relax and rejuvenate with this men's only yoga class with Chris. Classes are held on the 4th Sunday of the month from 8-9am at Tranquil Yoga, 37 Boddington Street. Each session finishes with refreshments and time to chat.

Meet Chris and Anna, Your Meditation Hosts

Chris and Anna have been teachers with ASMY for over 20 years and 15 years respectively. They absolutely love to share the gifts of meditation to their community and over the years have offered classes at different ASMY centres around Australia, community centres, organisations, universities, festivals and the corporate sector.
