Yin Yoga Class

Gentle Yin Yoga

A candlelight Yin Yoga class with slow moving and gentle yoga asana's that welcomes everybody from beginners to intermediate students.

What is Yin Yoga:

Yin is a wonderful slow paced yoga asana practice that specifically targets deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort.

When: Every Thursday, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Where: Upper Kedron Community Hall,

Address: 78 Cedar Creek Rd, Upper Kedron, QLD 4055

Sponsored by Brisbane City Council this is a FREE class as part of the Active & Healthy program. Bookings are essential, BYO yoga mat. Yoga props are strong recommended for this class, 2 blocks, firm pillow or bolster. Please also feel free to bring a blanket and eye pillow for the end of class.
