This fresh & healthy pesto is so quick and simple to make and will add so much flavour to so many dishes. There are many pestos available on the supermarket shelves, but nothing compares to the taste and aroma of homemade pesto.
- 2 cups fresh basil, tightly packed
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese
- ½ cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts
- 3 garlic cloves minced
Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender.
Add pine nuts or walnuts last to allow for a crunchy texture.
