Whether you are one to celebrate Christmas or not, we’d love to invite you to join us for a unique spiritually uplifting Christmas celebration – a beautiful heartfelt immersion of singing mantras or names of the Supreme Being, a delicious Christmas inspired vegetarian feast, friendship, community and wisdom and insights.
Kirtan, or chanting, is the singing of the Sacred Names of the Supreme. It is a personal journey of self discovery done in a group with like-minded people. Weaving together melody, music and mantra, kirtan is simultaneously a meditative and a soul fulfilling joyful experience. It’s a wonderful way to honour the life and spiritual teachings of Jesus Christ.
You might not be interested in anything religious but if we look at the teachings of Jesus, they are profound and full of love, commpassion, forgiveness, and kindness. They are therefore relevant in each of our own personal lives. His main teaching is for us to love God and to love and care for others, the same core teachings of Lord Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita.
