Yoga Teacher

I was first drawn to yoga for it’s mindful and relaxing qualities as part of my practice of self-care, to manage stresses in life and my job as a social worker. I am a great advocate of taking time out for yourself and creating the space to direct your intention inward, particularly in this fast-paced world. I have experienced the benefits first hand and the positive impacts this has had on my mind and body.

Yoga and meditation have been part of my life for 8 years now and I would have never predicted the profound influence on my life and the journey that grew out of a self-care practice. It’s so special to now be sharing and promoting the nourishing practices that I have engaged in and to pass on the wisdom from my teachers. My favourite thing about yoga is its non-competitive nature and how the practice can be adapted for everyone and all abilities.

I completed my 350 hour course with Veda Yoga in 2016 and I will be forever grateful to be able to share the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of this practice. I enjoy my Hatha yoga classes where I encourage each practice to be an individual one. I support the physical yoga asana practice with pranayama breathing techniques and take time to emphasise proper alignment.
