Kirtan Leader, Meditation Teacher, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Teacher

My yoga journey began 30 years ago when I happened to stumble upon a free meditation class by the Australian School of Meditation and Yoga at Burleigh Heads.  I was under a lot of stress at the time and the meditation gave me such relief, I was hooked from that very first class and continued on with my daily meditation practice for many years before taking up yoga asanas.  Having been born with a joint problem, the yoga strengthened and stretched my body, transforming it.  It was an amazing experience for me, I could now do things I could never do before.  It made my life physically easier, and combining that with the mental, emotional and spiritual benefits that meditation had brought me, I had found perfect combination to living a healthy, balanced life.

I decided to pass on these wonderful benefits to others, so I took a teacher training course twelve years ago and I’ve never looked back.  I absolutely love teaching both yoga asana and meditation. It has become a huge part of my life, so you’ll see me regularly at the West End studio. I’m there so much that often people think I live there…
