I discovered the yoga mat about 6 years ago, when a friend dragged me along to a yoga class at ASMY. It was only then that I discovered that years of long distance running had given me tight hips, and that I lacked core strength, and that I had a restless mind. The practice of yoga let me develop a subtle awareness of my body and mind, and made me feel more at ease within them.
After gaining so much from the practice of yoga, I decided to become a teacher so that I can give back and help other people experience the same benefits.
My yoga classes are centred on the breath as a place of focus for the mind, and aim at achieving balance, between strength and flexibility, between activation and relaxation.
My goal is to let the students become aware of the subtle changes that the practice of yoga brings to their bodies and minds.
