Minted Hummus

Recipe -- Minted Hummus


For those who find hummus a little too garlicky, here is the perfect hummus recipe. It substitutes the fresh taste of mint which combines so well with the other ingredients that you’ll have everyone asking you for the recipe.


  • 2 cups of cooked chick peas
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ⅓ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup water
  • Seasoned salt of your choice
  • Generous handful fresh mint
  • 1-2 tablespoons parsley


Put all ingredients into blender and whiz till smooth and creamy

Serve with oven crisped breads and assorted raw veggie sticks
