Creamy Rosemary Garlic Potatoes


Dress any meal up with this delicious old-time favourite. Potatoes are always a popular vegetable and teamed with garlic and rosemary is irresistible. This rich and tasty dish is very easy to prepare and is delicious served with anything from a salad and crusty bread to home made veggie pie


  • Approx. 1 kg potatoes, (enough to fill a large baking dish) sliced very thinly
  • 300g pouring cream
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1-2 teaspoons salt


Preheat the oven to moderate – 180ºC (350ºF)

Layer potato slices in baking dish.

Combine cream, garlic and rosemary.

Pour over potato slices.

Sprinkle with salt.

Cover with foil and bake for approximately 1 hour.

Remove foil and bake an extra 20 minutes until brown and crispy.

If you’d like you can sprinkle with cheese and breadcrumbs for an extra crispy topping.
