Easy Hatha Yoga Class

Hatha yoga increases flexibility, strengthens and tones muscles, balances hormones, cleanses and flushes all the internal systems of the body. It also calms the mind and reduces stress.
Classes are suitable for all levels with a strong focus on working within your body’s limitation. We use breath and awareness as guide to go deeper in your asanas. Hence, your body is safe and experiences the benefits of Hatha yoga.

Mantra Meditation Journey

By the simple process of mantra meditation, our mind and heart are gradually purified of all kinds of stress, worry, hankering, envy, anger, anxiety, and deep-seated fears. We begin to experience an ever-deepening inner peace and happiness and increasing insights into life.
Be a part of an immersive and interactive mantra meditation journey and join many other like minded people sharing this ancient yet effective meditation practice. Interweaving music, mantras, breath, and yoga wisdom to deepen your meditation, this Mantra Meditation evening is both soothing yet uplifting. You will be sure to leave feeling lighter, calmer and truly nourished within.
The evening is fully guided and includes breathing, mindfulness & mantra/kirtan meditation.
Everything is provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and participation! Some refreshments provided at the end of the program.

Deep Peace Meditation™ & Sound Bath

End your working week with this Deep Peace Meditation Journey featuring a Yoga Nidra Sound Bath using a collection of Tibetan singing bowls and chimes. A complete well-being experience to help you decompress from the week - assisting you to release stress, mental tension and emotional stagnation.
Self-care is something we far too often overlook, but is something we all desperately need and should be making a priority in our busy lives. Looking after our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing is what refreshes, rejuvenates and energises us so that we can move forward with our lives in a more balanced, harmonious way.
What to expect
Mindfulness, mantra breathing, fully guided full body relaxation (yoga nidra - equivalent to 4 hours of sleep), Tibetan singing bowls & mantra meditation.
What to bring
Bring yoga mat, blankets, cushions, eye pillows and whatever to make you comfortable lying down.

We teach at The Community Place in Stafford.
This spacious hall is very well-maintained and can easily accommodate more 40 people to do Hatha Yoga comfortably. The hall is situated in quite street with plenty of parking space and is nestled against the popular Keong Park at Stafford. A very tranquil environment conducive for yoga asanas, relaxation and meditation.

Sandgate Programs
We have regular Yoga Asana and Meditation Class at Sandgate. We hire Sandgate Town Hall for weekly Yoga Asana class on Monday at 5:30 pm and Sandbag Community centre for meditation/kirtan program on every 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at 5 pm.
Hatha Yoga & Sound Bath

Bringing an awareness and connection to the body, this class will include dynamic asanas, strength work, relaxing stretches, and breath work. A plentiful yoga nidra, accompanied with Tibetan sound bowls and powerful mantra meditation allows for restorative rest and relaxation. This class nourishes your physical, mental/emotional and spiritual health. Further Information:

Mantra Meditation Experience

Interweaving live music, mantras, mindfulness, and the breath to deepen your meditation experience, this Mantra Meditation evening is both soothing, yet uplifting. You will be sure to leave feeling lighter, calmer and truly nourished within.
Is a Kirtan Evening—A mantra is not just a sound of any kind. A mantra means that sound which draws the mind away from the temporary material dimension with all of it’s problems, hassles, anxieties, concerns and puts it onto the eternal.—
Everyone is welcome, whether you regularly engage in meditation or are new to the experience, we encourage you to come along and join Amit and Chantelle for a special night of community chanting in the beautiful location of Sandgate, only one block away from the waterfront.

Chantelle has been applying the Yoga Lifestyle in her life for over ten years. It has deeply transformed her from the inside-out. She finds joy from sharing all the tools, resources and inspirations that have been instrumentals in her own journey with others and supporting them to make simple changes in their life so they can experience the many benefits from this amazing process.
Chantelle is also a fun and nurturing yoga asana teacher who finds the balance between challenging her students and doing the core poses well. You can expect Chantelle’s classes to have a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Every class is unique with a real emphasis on students needs and their areas of tension.
Amit is a practitioner of mantra meditation for over 10 years. After some tough times in his life, and always feeling unfulfilled in the happiness derived from the "external", he started on the journey of self-discovery. He was fortunate enough to come across a genuine selfless spiritual teacher from whom he has received these ancient meditation practices that is available to everyone to cultivate lasting peace and deeper happiness.
For the Yoga Asana classes, he focuses on yoga alignment and breath. He holds the poses for longer duration and likes to tell the benefits of each pose in his class. You will find his classes helpful to increase focus, alignment, awareness and to feel relaxed at the end.
Emma has been practicing Mantra meditation for 5 years and enjoys supporting and providing programs through ASMY North Brisbane. She is a nature lover and finds great benefit from personal practice of meditation within nature.
Still developing and adding to her current skill set Emma currently teaches Deep Peace with Sound meditation using Tibetan sound bowls and Yoga asana classes. Classes have a gentle and relaxed flow interweaving various styles of meditation.
Emma will also be at the Kirtan session that ASMY North Brisbane hold to welcome you and make your experience an enjoyable one.
