If you haven’t heard of Kirtan there is no better way to learn about it than to come along to The Mantra Room. Let the experience transport you to a world of inspiration, peace and joy, far beyond the stress and worries of life.
The Mantra Room offers live music combined with sacred yoga chants in a relaxed, enchanting atmosphere. Featured kirtan leader Gopala dasi whose sweet and heartfelt chanting will leave you feeling inspired and Balarama Krishna das whose cruising melodies will soothe the soul.
The experience of Kirtan is like no other; the leader sings the mantra, everyone sings it back. It's meditative and beautifully immersive.
Everyone is welcome to join us for kirtan at The Mantra room in our beautiful meditation centre in North Adelaide. Come rest your heart and mind in the transcendental sound.
Tuesdays: 7:30pm – 8:30pm
This weekly session includes a guided meditation and a sweet treat.
Fridays: 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Includes a discussion on yoga philosophy and how we can apply it to our lives. Scrumptious refreshments are served every week and on the last Friday of each month an awesome vegetarian meal is served (suggested donation $10).
Sundays: 5:00pm – 7:30pm
Includes an amazing vegetarian buffet (suggested donation of $10).
With nearly 40 years’ experience in meditation and yoga I am the senior teacher at ASMY in Adelaide. My yoga and meditation journey began after searching for a more meaningful life. I found purpose, happiness and greater wellbeing in meditation, spiritual cultivation and yoga asanas, and my life’s passion is to share my love of these practices with everyone.
