We have meditation courses & workshops for those who want to learn to practice at home, and fully guided meditation sessions that will transport you to a place of pure relaxation of mind, body and heart.
Deep Peace Meditation
Experience the deeply relaxing and restorative effect of yoga relaxation and mantra meditation. These ancient yoga practices can help you overcome stress and anxieties, help relieve tension and calm the mind. It feels wonderful and helps you to experience perfect rest and recuperation. It's 45 minutes of bliss that will help transport you to a place of pure relaxation of mind, body & heart.

Breathwork & Meditation
Experience the many wonders and benefits of ancient breathwork, chi kung and meditation. Improve your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Feel more grounded, energised, and focused from this fully guided class.
Mindfulness & Meditation
Learn tools to live a more meaningful, peaceful and happy existence. Discover and experience your true inner spiritual self, separate to the sea of outward change. Use sacred or transcendental sound meditation to purify your consciousness and begin the journey of enlightenment.

Kirtan - Sacred Chanting Meditation
Kirtan, also a form of meditation is the singing of ancient Vedic mantras, spiritually uplifting songs, prayers and the Sacred Names of the Supreme. Rather than being a type of performance, Kirtan is a journey of self discovery.
This ancient yogic practice was traditionally accompanied with Indian instruments. In the hands and voices of contemporary practitioners, Kirtan has been transported beautifully to all cultural and musical styles without losing its genuine spiritual authenticity.
Wednesday Night Kirtan: Every Wednesday 7pm - 8:30pm
Friday Night Candlelight Kirtan: Every Friday 6:30pm - 8pm
Sunday Night Kirtan & Meditation: Every Sunday from 5pm - 7pm
at the Australian School of Meditation & Yoga Mermaid Beach

This course is suitable for absolute beginners to advanced practitioners, and consists of guided meditations, yoga philosophy talks, kirtan and Q & A time. All of our meditation teachers are warm, friendly and have had 10+ years’ experience in teaching meditation.

Meet our Teachers
Having served as a yoga and meditation teacher on the Gold Coast for the past decade, Amara is well known throughout the community. She has worked with universities around the Gold Coast, helping facilitate wellness programs & nature adventures for university students to help them navigate their studies with calm and clarity. Her bubbly nature mixed with her experience as an Ayurvedic wellness coach help make her classes light hearted, nourishing and balancing.
She also runs so many of our wellness & yoga workshops because she's a warrior like that!
