I’m Mandy and I have recently joined the ASMY family as a yoga asana and meditation teacher. For some years I have practiced many forms of meditation and yoga, and in 2012 I travelled to India to place where Buddha became enlightened. Here I experienced meditation and yoga on the grounds of a monastery where monks, catholic nuns and yogi’s of all nationalities and ages practiced together. This opened my heart to the notion that spirituality can be nurtured within all sentient beings.
A few years ago I was introduced to Kirtan and Veda Yoga through ASMY, and I have grown with this loving practice. I took the opportunity to study to become a qualified yoga asana teacher, so that I could share yoga and this beautiful form of kirtan meditation with others. I see the effect even on our pets at home as they hear the meditative sounds.
I would love to see you at ASMY and practice with you. My asana style incorporates stretch and strengthening asanas, and the use of the breath to bring some energy and flow through the practice. My goal is to provide classes that will leave you feeling more connected, balanced, and uplifted.
