Sunday Morning Chant + Relax in Greenbank
Kirtan is the heart and soul of meditation, enjoyable and uplifting, and doesn’t require a beautiful singing voice. Anyone can do kirtan! It is an ancient practice that is now becoming so popular around the world. Kirtans are happening in yoga centres, in homes with friends and family, community spaces- wherever people gather to chant for their own peace of mind, and for peace to spread across the world. Together with like-minded people, chanting sacred yoga mantras to the rhythm of live music, kirtan is the perfect antidote to the pressures of life, and our community comes together in harmony.
By the practice of meditation, we can begin to find inner wisdom and seek out answers to life’s big questions. Why am I here? Is there a deeper meaning to life? Where to find lasting peace and happiness? Through regular practice of Yoga breath, Japa and Kirtan Meditation, real inner contentment grows and worldly worries begin to fade away.
Everyone is welcome- from all ages, walks of life, personal beliefs, whether it’s first time or if regularly practicing meditation. I hope everyone coming will feel real benefits and take personal calmness and insights into the week ahead. Only goodness flows from practice of meditation.

Hatha Yoga in Greenbank
Every class offers a full yoga experience, including:

Relax & Meditate in Bethania
Meditation is a practice that's proven to reduce stress, increase mental focus, confidence and develop positive personality traits such as compassion, forgiveness and inner peace.
In this session, all you have to do is to lie down, get comfortable and we’ll do the rest, guiding you through a variety of breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques that will transport your to a place of pure relaxation of mind, body and heart.
Everyone is welcome. No prior experience needed.
When: Friday once a month, 6:45 PM - 7:45 PM
Where: Bethania Community Centre - 88-118 Station Rd, Bethania QLD 4205
Cost: Free, donations welcomed
Please bring:
- your own mat/rug to lie on to,
- a blanket or jumper to keep you warm,
- water bottle to keep hydrated, and
- other items to make you feel comfortable lying or sitting.

Learn to Meditate Workshop in Greenbank
This practical, hands-on workshop will give you the tools you need to transform your life with meditation. Including face to face time with your meditation mentor you’ll establish a firm foundation for adding this ancient practice to your life in a way that is sustainable for your unique situation. A time tested and globally recognised process, meditation has been proven to enhance you life in many ways, such as:
– Stress reduction
– Increased mental focus
– Improve your ability to make better life decisions
– Increase confidence
– Increase your ability to be self-disciplined

This course is suitable for absolute beginners to advanced practitioners, and consists of guided meditations, yoga philosophy talks, kirtan and Q & A time.

Hi, I began my yoga and meditation practice close to 40 yrs ago.
Yoga and meditation have been a real gift to me as they are a real gift to humanity. You don’t even have to be proficient at these practices to feel immediate benefits. The aim of the different yoga processes is to ultimately help an individual achieve complete harmony. The different systems of yoga have techniques and practices ranging from physical postures (asanas), to the deepest stages of meditation, all aimed toward helping a person achieve optimum physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
