GOODNA IPSWICH MEDITATION
February Kirtan Meditation
This month, we really want to share with everyone the gentle minded yoga practice of offering foods to the Supreme, and thereby our daily food is not only nourishment for our body but deeply nourishing for us - the soul within.
It is a simple meditative practice which changes so much in our life. It is a path to show kindness to others, a natural way to share our love to our family and friends , and others around us . Love in every mouthful.
It is such a beautiful thing to do - I hope to be able to explain it nicely to you all 🤞🏻 and show you how simple it is too. I taught my kids when they were toddlers. Yep, it’s for any and everyone.
So please come along if possible. If you have just heard about Goodna Kirtan - it’s an open door program, all welcome.
Starts at 6pm with Kirtan. Dinner happens about 6:45 pm. Some more Kirtan (yoga chanting) and often a short talk. Night finishes around 8:15 pm.
Please bring a bowl or plate for your dinner if you can. We will have some extra bowls on hand too .
WHEN: Monday 20th January starting at 6.00pm.
WHERE: Goodna Uniting Church, 13 William St, Goodna
CONTACT: No need to book, but contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Bring your friends, it will be a great night!
Bring your friends, it will be a great night!
Namaste, Chaitanya, Jivananda and friends.
(GOODNA IPSWICH MEDITATION is a program where we have audience participation with KIRTAN; the singing of sacred mantras, i.e. ageless sounds that relieve stress and purify the heart. It is simple and easy and for everyone. With regular Kirtan we find that we look at the world differently, we see ourselves for who WE are, individual spirit souls, and we see others as our eternal brothers and sisters. It’s a truly enlightening experience!)
