Christmas is almost upon us and along with the fun and festivities, come the stresses and tensions of trying to squeeze everything in before the end of the year. It’s almost as if we have to squeeze two months into one. We need double the amount of hours in each day. So how do we deal with this stress? Too often we don’t prioritise very well. We place what we feel are the most important things at the top of the to-do list and meditation and yoga get pushed to the bottom or even deleted until we get time again after the new year. In the mean time, stress is getting harder and harder to deal with, tensions are high and we become like a volcano about to erupt.
Stop, take a step back, breathe and then re-assess!It’s time to put that yoga and meditation back at the top of the list. By regular practice you’ll be calmer, more relaxed and you’ll be able to deal with the stresses of life so much easier. They will become like water off a ducks back. Even just once or twice a week will make so much difference in your life and it isn’t as if it is a huge austerity, yoga asanas feel so good and if you come along to our ‘Deep Peace’ guided sessions, all you have to do is lie there and relax while we do all the work.So no more excuses.
Keep up your regular practice right up until the end of the year and feel the difference, you’ll probably be the only calm one at the office.
