The Ramayana ~ Adventure ~ Love ~ Wisdom

The story and heroes of the Ramayana have captured the hearts and minds of countless generations. Revered through the ages for its spiritual wisdom, it is an uplifting tale of true love, heroism and adventure.

The Vedic calendar is full of occasions that help us remember and reconnect with our relationship with the Supreme Lord. Sunday 14 April is the celebration of Rama Navami, the auspicious appearance in this world of Lord Ramachandra. On this day it is very beneficial to hear the Ramayana, the glorious account of the activities of Lord Rama.

The Ramayana was composed by the great saint, Valmiki, and is considered to be one of the world’s oldest literatures. Cherished throughout India and much of Asia for centuries, it has been preserved and passed on through poems, folk tales, music, dance, drama, sculpture, painting.

Join us for the enthralling retelling of Ramayana, plus kirtan and delicious vege/vegan meal. Children welcome. Cost $5
