Your days will be filled with heart-warming and soul-stirring kirtans by the angelic Madya Lila dasi and other guest kirtan leaders; insightful and profound yoga wisdom talks with longtime Vedic teacher Radha Krishna das; afternoon adventures; wholesome vegetarian/vegan meals prepared with love, and the opportunity to perform karma yoga (selfless action) in the kitchen and learn nourishing vego recipes.

Kirtan Meditation

Weaving together melody, music and mantra with people responding to the words of the singer, clapping, swaying and sometimes dancing, Kirtan is simultaneously a meditative, exhilarating and fun activity. The eternal wisdom contained in the yoga texts explain that these mantras are transcendental sounds endowed with unlimited spiritual potency. They purify one’s consciousness and bring deep spiritual insight and inner happiness.

Radha Krishna das

Radha Krishna Das has been a student and practitioner of yoga philosophy and the yoga lifestyle for the past 35 years. His personal spiritual journey began as a teen when he began questioning the cause of the inequalities and suffering that is obvious in the world.

Radha Krishna Das is inspired to share the profound yoga wisdom, teachings and practices with other individuals who can apply them in their own personal lives to optimize their physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. He has shared yoga wisdom sessions around Australia and internatioanlly, and regularly teaches at ASMY.

Madya Lila dasi

Long time Bhakti yoga practitioner and harmonium artist, Madya Lila is known for her angelic voice and has gained recognition for skilfully combining the ancient mantras of yoga with the rhythms and melodies of the modern world.

Raised in a family of yogis, yoga has been a part of Madya Lila's life from birth. She enjoys sharing her lifelong love of kirtan, meditation, asanas and the deeper spiritual practices the yoga tradition has to offer.


For the past 7 years, Ambarissa has been teaching yoga asana and meditation classes to many different people, from university students to corporate executives. Since moving from Brisbane to the South Coast of NSW in 2016, Ambarissa continues to share the gifts of yoga with others and loves seeing people greatly benefit.

She was raised, along with her 3 siblings, with meditation as a key part of her life and can’t imagine life without it! She also has a love for the great outdoors and organises Adventure & Meditate days around NSW and other community events.

Srinath dasi

Srinath dasi has been practicing meditation and incorporating the yoga philosophy teachings into her everyday life for over 40 years. She teaches Yoga Asana classes and Deep Peace Meditation classes at ASMY's Sydney centre. Her warm, friendly and gentle nature allows everyone to feel welcomed and relaxed.
