Come celebrate Krishna’s birthday with us
You are warmly invited to join us for the next kirtan event. This month we will be having a transcendental birthday party for Lord Krishna!
This special celebration is called Janmashtami – ‘The festival of loving devotion.’ It is celebrated annually by millions of people worldwide.
The evening will include:
– A traditional arotik ceremony for Lord Krishna
– A bathing baby Krishna ceremony that everyone can participate in
– A beautiful slideshow about Krishna’s appearance in this world
– Offerings of flowers and prayers
There will also be heartfelt devotional singing of sacred mantras (kirtan) and a delicious vegetarian meal will be served. Everyone is welcome. Please feel free to invite your family and friends!
