Stress is the body’s way of responding to demand or pressures. It can be caused by both good and bad experiences. In some cases stress is a healthy reaction. It helps us cope with life’s challenges. However too much stress, or prolonged stress can affect our physical and mental health. Taking steps to cope with situations we find stressful is important so we can function and live productive lives.
In this inspiring workshop we will be exploring ways to improve our lives using the wisdom from the ancient Vedas. This great wisdom has been passed down by self-realised yoga masters since time immemorial and this knowledge is still incredibly relevant and practical today and can be easily applied to our daily lives for greater peace and clarity.
This “How to Deal with Stress” workshop will also include practical meditation techniques such as Mantra Breathing, mindfulness, japa and kirtan as well as refreshments to you allow you time to ask questions, socialise and associate with like-minded souls.
