On this day as we reflect, respect and recognise the wonderful diversity of people and various cultures, traditions and beliefs we also take this opportunity to share peace and appreciate the bond of kinship that unites us all. The wisdom of Yoga shares that each of us is an eternal spiritual entity, part and parcel of the supreme soul, relatives and brothers in the truest sense. When we actually see and appreciate this equality and kinship then we can become peaceful as individuals and as society.
“Without the respect for people of different races, ethnicities or religions, how can we have a peaceful and harmonious society or world and without a harmonious society how can there be the necessary economic development and atmosphere conducive to spiritual happiness and self-realisation?” – Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupananda
We warmly invite you to our “Chant for Peace” evening where we come together and share a vegan BBQ and immerse ourselves in hearing and chanting the universal yoga mantras for world peace.
For the world to be peaceful we need to be first peaceful within ourselves. By the simple process of mantra meditation, our mind and heart are gradually purified of all kinds of stress, worry, misconceptions and deep-seated fears etc. We begin to experience an ever-deepening inner peace and happiness and increasing insights into life.
Be a part of an immersive and interactive mantra meditation experience as timeless mantras intertwined with soothing and spirited melodies takes you on a journey to deep inner peace and happiness.
