Following ancient tradition, ASMY offers all meditation courses and classes by donation because we feel that everyone should have the opportunity to receive the gift of meditation and experience the amazing benefits that meditation has to offer.

You are invited to the heart of tranquility in Darwin – the Mantra Room, your sanctuary for soulful kirtan and meditation experience. Immerse yourself in the blissful melodies of ancient mantras and find respite from the chaos of everyday life.

We also offer meditation workshops for those who want to learn to practice at home and fully guided sessions that will transport you to a place of pure relaxation of mind, body and heart.


The Mantra Room ~ Kirtan Meditation

Kirtan, also a form of meditation is the singing of ancient Vedic mantras, spiritually uplifting prayers and the sacred names of the Supreme. Rather than being a type of performance, kirtan is a journey of self discovery.

This ancient yogic practice is accompanied by instruments. In the hands and voices of contemporary practitioners, kirtan has been transported beautifully to all cultural and musical styles without losing its genuine spiritual authenticity.

Discover how we can add an enjoyable meditation practice to our lives, in a way that suits our circumstances. This practical workshop will give us the tools we need to kick start a meditation practice.

Meditation can transform our lives so that we experience deeper peace, happiness and clarity of mind. It gives us a firm foundation for our lives so that we can weather the storms of life!

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners to advanced practitioners, and consists of guided meditations, mindfulness, yoga wisdom, kirtan and Q & A time. Our meditation teachers are warm, friendly and have had 10+ years’ experience in teaching meditation.

Ben came across yoga by being dragged to his first class. And he has not looked back since. The self-discovery journey over the last 10 + years has been profoundly transforming and he discovered a strong sense of higher purpose and happiness. Dedicating the rest of his life in the service of others, he loves to share yoga wisdom and meditation to help others in their own lives.
