You’re invited to unwind, relax, and soothe your mind and heart with kirtan meditation. Weaving together mantras, melody and music, kirtan is an immersive experience which is both meditative and joyful.
Meditation is often seen as a solitary practice of trying to empty the mind, but kirtan offers an easy and effective alternative to relieve stress and find peace. Kirtan is an enjoyable and interactive group meditation of hearing and singing sacred mantras which is uplifting and brings about a deep sense of inner happiness.
The powerful and authentic mantras relax and calm your body and mind. And for those seeking a deeper spiritual connection, mantra meditation offers the opportunity to awaken your spiritual nature and heartfelt connection with others and with the Supreme Soul.

What to Expect
Our kirtans features live acoustic music combined with guided chanting. The leader chants the easy-to-learn mantras and we listen, and then we respond singing together. It’s a beautiful experience. Our kirtans are mostly mellow, slow and soulful, but sometimes can naturally flow into a little more upbeat.
- Do I have to sing? You are welcome to just listen. When you feel ready to do so, you can join in with the singing. It doesn’t matter whether you can ‘sing” or what your voice is like. It’s very relaxed and informal and it’s not a performance.
- What seating options do you have? We have a variety of options, including comfortable lean back floor chairs, low seats along the wall with cushions, and standard chairs.
- How long is it? Our kirtan meditation sessions are either 1 hour or 1.5 hours, and include calming breath work and inspiring wisdom. 1.5 hours might seem like a long time to meditate, but it easily glides by. And don’t worry, you won’t be singing the whole time!
- How often should I come? Some people come to every session, once a week, or once in a while. There is no commitment required.
- What’s the vibe like? Friendly, causal, mellow, welcoming, community, easy connection. When you walk into our studio, your whole body takes a big exhale. We attract people from all walks of life, of all ages and backgrounds.
No experience necessary. Come alone or bring friends. Whether you're new to meditation or already practice, you're most welcome.
